The system costs $47, which if you consider the price of private hitting lessons, is pretty reasonable. And the extra videos and audio are make a sweet addition.
The Super 8 Hitting System was created by Joe Brockhoff, who seems to be (after a little bit of googling) a well respected coach, as well as a much sought after hitting instructor. He racked up over 600 wins (over 19 seasons) as a manager at Tulane, so he knows what he is talking about. Add in the fact that a large number of his players went pro and its obvious that we are talking about someone that knows baseball inside and out. I also searched for other reviews of this system and I have to say that most reviwers really liked it. About the only negative review I found said that the techniques that are taught can create a “slap hitter”, but I can’t say that is true.
This baseball hitting system was developed in the 90s, so there is some history there. Coaches across the nation are implementing this system, and one of the customer reviews I read said that this system had a lot in common with techniques used by the 2009 Florida State baseball team (a legendary team if ever there was one). And this system seems to be perfect for connecting with pitches that come in right at shoulder level.
The videos themselves show some great fundamentals. And I can recommend them to anyone wanting to get better at hitting a baseball. This system isn’t a scam. I also like the fact that there is a money back guarantee so you don’t have to worry if it doesn’t help you or your kid.
